The 48th Annual Institute on Lake Superior Geology will be held on Tuesday May 14 and Wednesday May 15, 2002 at the Best Western Lakeside Inn and Convention Centre, 470 1st Avenue South, Kenora, ON P9N 1W5 ( Phone 807 468-5521)
This two-day technical session (May 14 and 15) will be sandwiched between pre- (May 12 & 13) and post-meeting (May 15 & 16) field trips. Please return or email the Registration Form by April 2, 2002 to receive the reduced registration fee. You will receive a letter confirming your registration along with field trip information.
Topics relating to the geology of the Lake Superior Region of Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Ontario are encouraged for submission. Due to the unique location of Kenora we invite the inclusion of topics related to the geology of southeastern Manitoba.
Authors are requested to provide a digital copy (in MS Word ® format) of their abstract on disk or by e-mail. All maps and diagrams must be in .jpg or .tif format. Abstracts and illustrations may also be provided in hard copy. Abstracts may be sent to Peter Hinz at the e-mail or mail addresses listed below.
