The 2018 meeting will be chaired by Laurel Woodruff , Bill Cannon (United States Geological Survey) and Esther Stewart (Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey) in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The committee is working hard to pull together a great meeting. As we get our plans in place we will share information through this web site, so check back regularly.

Registration for the meeting is now open and is being handled through the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum of Michigan Tech. To register please click here or visit the museum's web site and go to the Shop tab


Accommodations

All events for the 64th Annual ILSG Meeting will take place at the Pine Mountain Golf and Ski Resort. The resort has 21 standard rooms, 12 refurbished rooms, 2 adjoining room lodge suites, and 9 two-bedroom condos. Additional accommodations in the Iron Mountain area within easy driving distance to Pine Mountain Resort can be here.


Abstracts

The abstract deadline is March 16, 2018. Authors must submit a print-ready abstract in both PDF and MS Word formats. When submitting your abstract, please indicate your preference for an oral presentation, a poster presentation, or no preference. Direct abstract questions and submissions to: Esther Stewart at: esther.stewart@wgnhs.uwex.edu. Please follow ILSG Format, using recent Proceeding Volumes available online as a guide. Use left, top, and right margins of 1" and bottom margin of 1.3". The abstract volume will be printed in black and white, although the PDF of the volume will be in color. Thus, authors need to ensure that color figures reasonably reproduce in black and white. Text should be single spaced. Maximum of two pages of text, figures, and references.
