Holiday Inn Express Houghton: call the front desk at 906-482-1066; mention the Institute on Lake Superior Geology to book a room (currently 50 rooms are available in the ILSG block). To make your reservation for the reduced rate of $129/night you must do so no later than April 12.

Super 8 Houghton: call the front desk at 906-482-2240; mention the Institute on Lake Superior Geology to book a room (currently 40 rooms are available in the ILSG block). To make your reservation for the reduced rate of $125-136*/night you must do so no later than April 14.
*rates vary based on single and double occupancy, water view, etc.

Quality Inn and Suites: call the front desk at (906) 275-4995; mention the Institute on Lake Superior Geology to book a room (currently 30 rooms are available in the ILSG block). To make your reservation for the reduced rate of $109/night you must do so no later than April 1.

Hampton Inn & Suites is offering a 12% discount on regular room rates; the discount will expire on April 15, 2024. Guests can book following this link or by calling the hotel directly at (906) 487-1700 – if you choose to call, do not select the option for reservations – just press 0 for the front desk and mention the Institute on Lake Superior Geology.
